Qld: Show search for Kelly truth

The search is on for anyone who heard an elderly man claiming to be the sole-surviving
member of the KELLY gang at the Brisbane Show in 1934.

Historian PAUL TULLY has asked anyone who heard the man claiming to be NED KELLY's
younger brother DAN to come forward.

The Ipswich Shire councillor wants to locate show patrons from 1934 who might shed
some light on the 124-year mystery of the KELLY Gang's last stand at Glenrowan in Victoria.

Councillor TULLY says the man, known as JAMES RYAN, had apparently talked in intimate
detail of the KELLY family history and the KELLY gang.

He says Mr RYAN died in 1948 after being hit by a coal train.
